At NHI, we want to empower and build capacity in every school community through mentoring and partnerships, so that they can take initiative, a true sense of ownership of long-term projects, and responsibility for their own development. Please see our projects for more information.

We seek to empower Christian school communities by developing partnerships that are sustainable and mutually beneficial to Christian schools in Australia, and with and between organizations in local communities. Supporting Christian schools in their pursuit of excellence can include the provision of essential services (e.g. clean water), school resources, or improved infrastructure. We would welcome enquiries from schools and organisations that are keen to develop a partnership with a school in a developing country.
We also offer training in planning Community Development, a practical course that helps participants wrestle with questions such as :
What is development?
Who is your community?
How can we create community ownership?
How do we avoid hindrances to community development?
New Hope International brings hope to schools and their wider communities in tangible ways, providing long-term solutions through the delivery of quality aid and development. We do this through our partnership with Global Development Group, as well as through community development training.
